    Lightbulb 5200+ AM2 BOX overclock - >3400MHz!

Has bought to myself a new computer for work, has decided to buy AMD as I work only in office appendices. The processor has very much pleased, I shall soon buy a normal MB and I shall try overclock on SS

    3500MHz on stock cooling ?
I've had a 5600+ X2 o/ced at 3.7GHz on h2o ... Not very pleased I must say Should do around 3.9GHz or even more on SS though

I've never seen that frequency with stock cooling on an 5200+ X2 ... When did that revision come out ? It's the first time I see it ... (maybe because I don't pay much attention to AMD this certain period of time )

Yeah, but do not forget the Intel Yorkfields ... CRAZY o/c ...
It's a pity that AMD has kind of fallen behind ... The 64bit Athlons did a great job

@Nordling: I think that some more cable management, could decrease the temperatures a little bit ... Give it try whenever you have time
