Well I missed the boat on that chip because I was unsure

Good news is there will be another option to buy one hopefully from the same batch within the next week.

Looks a nice chip. What temps are you getting at 3.6 mate? Idle & Load

Looking at the asus probe 2 27c in idle and 50c in full but...2 things.

I am using right now ac in my room (at this time in my country the temps begin to be really hot) and the asus probe, as always, lies, put it about 10c more in idle and 10-15c more in full (with a Tuniq Tower 120).

I like to try with coretemp but everytime i click on it the system crashes and reset.

0.95. Now i have tried with 0.94 and no problems, 2 cores are at 61c and the other 2 at 57c (while passing prime).

The only thing is that 0.94 recognize my cpu sometimes as a Q6600 or as a QX6500 hehe.

ya 0.94 works perfectly while 0.95 is very buggy

but it is weird that it is not reporting it correctly

Quick question about the GO stepping:

Will the $266 Q6600 quads be available with such stepping, or is that reserved to the Xtreme parts?

Yeah thats true. I have a Q6600 B3 and is much hotter than this QX G0.

BTW, i tought that i should have the multiplier unlocked upwards but the max i can put is 10 (P5K DLX 0311 bios), is that normal or is a matter of bios/mobo?

QXuZ G0 on QX6700 is much better then B3 stepping,
    better overclocker.

QX6700/QX6850 unlocked up/down anyways so why pay the premium on an
QX6850 G0 when 6700 G0 just as good for cheaper.....
