    700x8 - Bootable - Bug or not? :D

I've tested yesterday a little bit with my system, and just for fun i tested an "impossible" configuration.
In the Bios i set the FSB at 700Mhz and the multi at 8 (maximum for my E2140). Then i've restarted the system and the system boots....

But after detecting the hdds the systems stops.

    Here my components:

    Intel Dualcore E2140
    DFI Infinity 965-S Dark
    2*1024MB DDR2-533 Crucial Value Micron D9
    Medion X740XL
    Coba 650W PSU

Here a video of this action:

    700*8

You hang at the end of post though right? The board uses a different bootup fsb, and then ramps it up. But for some reason, bootup clock is only selectable in increments of 5, and up to 410mhz.

I think default is 100fsb.... setting should be beside where you set the divider.... thats a good feature cos it gives you time to hit del and go to bios if your setting is wrong... Ive posted at 540x 9 before.... at 1.5v

default can't be 100?? I've found that at higher fsb's, I need to set either auto or a value above 350fsb. I can do 320, but sometimes it'll hang at the end of post.

it is heavy depends on mobo and vendor, some mobos has 100 fsb POST freq, some has max FSB!

the dfi definitely sets it separately though it seems. with normal motherboards, when you use setfsb, it'll start up at whatever frequency it's currently running at. with the dfi, reading the fsb with setfsb results in fsb dropping to bootup clock. from there, you have to manually bring it back up
