sorry but i feel exactly the same and its killing me more as everyone around me is getting the extreme i'm stuck with a lousy cooler.
I truely TRUELY truely hopes that the new IFX-14 doesn't have the infamous issue with the insecure mounting base as on the Ultra120 Extreme. I gotta love and hate Thermalright for producing a heatsink so great but its base couldn't give it all to support its weight and prevent it to twist like a hula hoop.

Apparently NCIX has it for almost a month now. That doesn't mean it'll be in stock anytime soon. The Tuniq Tower 120 and the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme just came in stock about couple weeks ago so I doubt the even newer heatsink from Thermalright IFX-14 is comming anytime soon BUT Mid to Late June might be possible
I HOPE

i don't believe england would be that far behind on this release. after custompc uk review of thermalright i doubt anyone would still want it. nonsense to pair the ultra with a zalman fan....
http://www.pcpro.co.uk/custompc/labs...20-lga775.html when did i even say it was the review of this ifx-14. i said after the bad review about tr coolers in a uk computer mag what would the english people go for next. now was that so hard to grab. no wonder you guys get it slow.

but this isnt the ultra-120....
Has anyone tested it yet, any reviews? Hopefully it lives up to the hype.

I'm still waiting on word from Thermalright on these - keeping my fingers crossed that they start shipping soon.
It looks promising but I'm not sure I trust Thermalright quality. The Ultra 120 Ex. also looked good but there are tons of complaints regarding warped/rough bases and sloppy mounts.
Only time will tell if the IFX-14 has these same problems.
I don't think this will be much better than the Extreme 120. Also that thing is way to big. oh well. I will skip this and go straight for W/Cing![]()
it will be better since atleast it is using 8mm heatpipes like the Ultra-X
beside this design always proved to be much better in cooling ( Sonic Tower ) beside you can use 3 x 120mm fans or even 3 x 140fans for maximum performance and still very silent

I like the look of the clamp, looks like it should work much better than the scissors crap on the Extreme
i7 920 @ 4.0GHz
Scythe MUGEN-2 with Push/Pull
Gigabyte EX58 UD5
3X2GB G-Skill DDR3
Sapphire 5870 1GB Vapor-X
OCZ Agility 120GB
24" Acer HDMI LCD
Corsair TX850
Lian-Li PC-V1000
the multi backplate is easier for this and clamping won't be a problem since it doesn't have 6 heatpipes stuck together blocking the way there is a 38mm space in the middle to put the clip nicely. Ha water cooling see how upgrading constantly will kill you.
$80 @ Tank Guys, shipping out the 27th of this month.
$80 @ Heatsink Factory, avaliable 23rd of this month.
