Chartered. Remember my couple of posts mentioning their expansion of Module B. The speed at which the contractors were buidling it was astouding. By now the OHTs (Overhead Tranporters) are fully functional and almost 3/4 of the equipment needed would at be their allocated locations. Chartered/AMD is serious about 45nm production and its no surprise that AMD is Chartered's biggest customer. I wouldnt be surprised if AMD was funding the expediting of Module B.....![]()

Just a little sidenote for those talking about foundries. TSMC got 65 and 45nm too. But its simply not ready for CPu or even GPU grade. AMD still struggle with 65nm on their GPU.
Roughly you can say 65nm aint 65nm when comparing. Or 45nm for that matter. We already make some memory at 50nm as example. But thats lightyears from making CPUs or the simpler GPUs.
