let's see some overclocking now >> you are in the extreme section afterall

since it's got better RAM you should be able to get some decent figures with that advantage over old scores

Many GTX uses BJ-1A or Hynix FP-1, aka 1ns

XFX pre oc'd are coming @ 675 and there have been 2 reviews getting 670 so I'd say time to get that core up and humming

Well, better memory and newer gpu revision would do extra 100$, not 250$. You overpay for fastest card status, not for performance.
But holy crap Denny, you have 2900XT, you have 8800Ultra, where the hell you are getting all this hardware? You make me feel my e-penis tiny

I heard somewhere that Ultra is using newer gpu revision that overclocks better, and ultra has 2w lover power consumption than gtx by removing some components, same as x1900xtx and x1950xtx. But anyways, i dont care about nvidia, im waiting when r600 hits the market.

    room temp 33.4C / ~92F

    overclocking to 670/1200
GPU is about the limit under stock, which mean no mod, stock cooling
GDDR3 might able to OC a bit more

i ran specviewperf 9.03...compare with R600, G80 is really slow

    Ta, not bad, thankyou.

Any chance of putting a DMM on it and letting us know gpu volts at idle and under load.

BTW, what was the shader clock speed when you hit 670 core, rivatuner will show it.
