I can tell you this much....

8800GTX@stock
2 gb Consair(not sure of ram, not my rig)
eVGA 680i
10-20 fps maxed out with only 3 bots... Lowering the video settings does practically nothing.
It's not the videocard causing it, because the videocard temp is literally only climbing 3C, so it's obvious it's not the bottleneck in said occurance, as a 3c climb from idle shows it's practically doing nothing. It's either the lack of physx card(and their software physx engine sucks) or he's got a problem elsewhere. Judging by other reports, it's the game.
cool, look faster !!! lol

Numbers look slightly suspect. The fact that it doesn't go much above 10fps could mean that its just frame-capped if you don't have a physx card. Physx probably does help quite a bit but I'm very suspicious of having such a consistant result without it.
<eMesreveR>Do "girls" ever appear outside the Internet? Can i randomly encounter them?
<Aleph-One>I believe they are a fabrication. Most of the evidence would suggest that they were created in a studio during the Cold War to display our industrial superiority over the Soviet Union.

I'm getting around 38-47 fps on fuel station map with 6 bots. It dips sometimes to 15fps when intense graphics.

Well ran it just really quick 3 bots. HDR on 1920x1200. My CPU is at 3Ghz as well GPU 668/747 on my X1900XT.
Anywhere from 20-45FPS. Not bad at all. Definatly no AA was on and not sure what AF setting was if it was even on. I'm amazed that it ran that well on the system let alone at such a high res.

I turned off all the shadows and the fx, but enhanced the textures, AA, and AF. It runs perfectly with Vsync on now.
No need for a PhysX card or commandline arguments to run this. A couple maps say they're tpp physics extreme though, and require the card. As of now, all the boxes and debris kind of float and move at a fixed update rate. Maybe having the card changes that.
Yes, the PhysX API is well multithreaded.
Edit: I love throwing people off the face of existence or crushing them.
