Ok, I picked up a L638A666 and it can do 3.6 @ 1.5v. A little better, but not by much.
so would u say that B>A>F ??? how bout G??

I dont really know how Q6600's batches are. I've only tried two so far. With the C2D, I had 11 E6600's since week 24 came out. And yea the B's definitely show the best voltage/clock settings on C2D from my experience. With these? I dunno, the next A or F could be just as good or not better. We'll have to wait for more users to report.

Speedfan and TAT both measures internal core temp but speedfan for me is 13-15 °C cooler than TAT or RMClock. Temp guide for your reference.

    I like RMClock the best.

I know there are cinebenches around, but would you people mind posting your cinebench (from stock to oc) results since I find them the most useful ones since I'm working with 3D.

I don't have any screenies now, but I can post my results

L644Gxxx (can't remember the exact FPO)

    3200MHz (8x400 - 9x355) @ 1.3475V (real volts)

I haven't test it yet with lower Volts, it might work.

My temps in CoreTemp are 45 Idle, 65 Load.

I have a Tuniq Tower 120 with the stock fan at 1200 RPM.

    I currently have my q6600 running @3.1 (344x9) @ 1.3v 8 hrs prime stable
If i want to get to 3.2 (356x9) i have to run it @ 1.5v it seems a big jump and im wondering if im doing anything wrong? Do I have to raise anymore voltages except the core?

    My spec are
    Q6600 (L712A362)
Asus commando (vdroop mod) bios 0803
    2 x 1gb G.Skill PC6400 HZ's

    Settings
    Everthing on auto except
    CPU Core volt (1.3)
    PCi Freq (100)
    PCi Syn (33.33)

    Thanks in advance

also just try to set fsb to 401 not 400 and see how you go...Mine wont boot windows at between 375 and 400 ..yet from 401 boots up to 455 with 9x multi. 1.6vcore at the 455 fsb.
you can take a look at some simple images here.. http://www.hwbot.org/user.do;jsessio...B3?userId=8636

while your there read up on other peoples Hardware with there commando and volt settings...
    Godd Luck Hori

OH SHIET... your wall is EXACTLY where mine is. it wont boot up from 376->399 worth crap no matter how much voltage you give it. :\

Congrads, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Where can you read the week x, stepping, etc.? Printed on the chip? CPU-Z?
