    Is the AGP version out there yet? Cuz I'm sure some s940 holdout will get one

    This card performs like an X800, to anyone getting this for future DX10 games it's completely useless unless they're gaming at 800x600

    Hey at least it's SSF... It would be good for someone that just wants to get by with DX10 support and not insane gaming. I don't know of anyone but myself from school or anywhere else around here (except for the gay LANs we have in Windsor where people benchmark stock rigs............) that plays higher than 1024*768.

    That's interesting. Nevertheless you can get the same performance for at least twice as cheap. By the time you run a directX game it will be lie now running a DX9 game on a radeon 9200SE

    in germany some stores are already listing the 8500 and 8600 cards.

    8500GT with 256MB DDR2 for 98 euro.
    8600GT with 256MB GDDR3 (OC edition) for 145 euro
    8600GT with 256MB GDDR3 for 151 euro
    8600GTS with 256Mb GDDR3 (OC edition) 202 euro
    8600GTS with 256Mb GDDR3 208 euro

    all of them cards are from MSI and atm only 1 store is listing them (as not in stock) so once more stores are listing them il bet the prices go down.

    Easy trigger. I have a very nice 15" BenQ LCD that runs 1024x768. It's awesome for gaming with great graphics, without the pricetag.

    You are wrong, because i know that stock are full of 8600GT around the Europe, retailers waits for NDA ends to starting selling. But if you want some, must be hurry, numbers are limited, and next delivery to stocks will be in next month.

    8600GTS spotted in Poland on Allegro (sth like ebay)
    BFG 8600GTS 256MB; 710 core / 2000 memory 895zł = ~315 $

    MSI 8600GTS 256MB; 690 core / 2100 memory 780zł = ~275 $

    It says MSI has HDTV out (I think he meant HDMI)
    Box content is listed:
    - HDTV (HDMI?) cable
    - S-VIDEO cable
    - DVI -> D-Sub converter x2
    - power converter (molex -> PCI-E 6-pin I guess)

    It's nice, but expected the prices to be lower. Let's hope they'll fall whe 8600 is widely available.
