Cute graph. Those prices will probably be on AMD's official list www.amd.com/pricing
Johnny Guru has prices that'll show up on Newegg I think.

If this is not proven to be false in the next month or so, then I am def going AMD this April.
If they do end up doing this - I have huge doubts - it will kill the company, that I can no longer deny.

X2 4000+ @ $100 sounds just perfect for cheap a HTPC
AMD clearing out the channel inventory for ?
The X2 6000 is a bargain at that price, especially for an AMD person.
i smell an X2 6000+ as my birthday present

why would it kill the company? yields on 65nm are getting better every month, die size is very small for k8.
if you were waiting for k10, you can allready buy 3600 now very cheap. my e6600 will drop 30% end april and another 30% in july, hell i'll just sell it now for a very decent price. I'll buy the saphire 690 mobo with a x2 3600 till the new k10 arrives, it provides oc'ed enough power for daily work and games.

Asus Z9PE-D8 WS with 64GB of registered ECC ram.|Dell 30" LCD 3008wfp:7970 video card
LSI series raid controller
SSDs: Crucial C300 256GB
Standard drives: Seagate ST32000641AS & WD 1TB black
OSes: Linux and Windows x64
this would kill the company if they didnt have a new product coming out in a month... this is obviously aimed at the short term of gaining marketshare/clearing out the old. k10 wont hit full swing till 08, but amd doesnt want to be sitting on piles of k8 chips that nobody wants, kinda like a certain someone...

Soon you need to pay taxes on the tax here in crapeurope.
Everything extra is bad!
When are we gonna have a RAM price war?![]()
Fast computers breed slow, lazy programmers
The price of reliability is the pursuit of the utmost simplicity. It is a price which the very rich find most hard to pay.

Modern Ram, makes an old overclocker miss BH-5 and the fun it was
Only bit they've stuffed up is the 4400+ price :p
should match 4300's price to be a viable alternative.. 4300 is pretty good value there..
X2 4800 !!!!!!!!!!!
