Well said, I hope keep it and run a kent in 6 months or so.

I am looking at going kent asap, it's worth keeping for the gtl tweaking on those quads alone. I love cmos reloaded too, i have profiles saved for different situations, the key one for browsing runs eveything at low volts and clocks, which is all I need for browsing (saving on power) and component life. I have 2 other profiles for benching and gaming. Cmos reloaded should be available on all oc'ing mobos so we can run lean when required. I think what has kept my board going so strong despite my hitting it with every voltage is my cooling both on cpu, water block on the nb and also extra fans blowing at the board. Pushing devices whilst not taking the right precautions regardless of what you are used to on other chipsets/boards is not the way to do things. Almost all areas of this board have been maxed out by me simultaneously without error for long bench sessions, and I ensure things are kept cool with adequate airflow.

does the DFI get kents over 400fsb?

Last i checked that can only be done on 965.

also another thing I'd like to point out, a couple of us are running 1T on sub ddr1000 specced ram, on good voltage too, around 2.3 will be get me ddr800 1T on d9 micron specced at ddr 557 cas3/4 depending on how much stability you want guaranteed. A good strike for balance on this system for everyday use, this is what I meant earlier, we must remeber that 1t on various chipsets is not always the same as the name itself implies, the actual load varies with the internal chipset latency, which is why we are able to run ram faster and slower on various chipsets and at varying vdimm too.

nice, makes me wonder why people assume 1T is the same on every board. That's 6400 ram running ddr1000 1T, well done, proves that armchair theory without owning a board is not always right. As ram bandwidth is down running 1T does not take you significantly outside spec. I might try and see the highest I can bench at 1T tonight..

Wow what a low time in SuperPi, same time here but with 500MHz less on the CPU...

here's what I have managed with regards to 3dmark01 thx to my dear friend Phase, he's helped me squeeze this board hard (could not have done it without you man!). Still it can go further (should be in the 75's) with more attention to detail, ok it's no world beater but I am happy I got it this far, the phrase flexibility springs to mind.

Only the RAM is tweaked, rock stable in memtest, haven´t tried Orthos yet. ATM is my 24/7 config, until i have my WC back.

I´m on intel stock cooler, so de max. FSB reached is around 400. When I get some decent cooling the fun will start (hoping 450 FSB 24/7, 500+ for benching), but until then i´ll keep it only at 3100mhz. I´ll show you my board´s max. FSB

Haha the avatar is very very nice

You probobly know this, but the Scythe infinity is the best hsf I have ever seen. I love mine. my temps never get above 60c with my e6300 @ 3.6ghz (516fsb x7) I would like to peg out my chip and see what my memory could do with more volts.
