    1GB Value DDR2 800MHz -> chips?

    Hi there,

    i would like to know what chips are used on the Value 800MHz ddr2 ram (TVDD1024M800C4).

    Hi,

    thanks. After looking at promos webpage and they data sheet, the value ram uses mostly sure the promos chips.

    do you think the ram will go over 900MHz ?

    most likely yes, but no promises, since overclocking is never a given, especially with value ram
    Got a fan over those memory sticks? No? Well get to it before you kill them

    Of course it's just a picture, but the URL says DDR2-667, so does this mean Team's Value DDR2-667 used to have Elpida ICs?

    I think we used many different IC makers for value ram and that is part of the reason I am not able to announce the IC for value ram specifically. To answer your question, YES. We did use Elpida before. I think we are still using them and I just dont know how Taiwan distribute different factory IC into our value ram series.
