Public warning...... DD high flow fittings borked up.

Watch out for DD high flow 1/2" fittings. They are knowingly shipping out bad fittings with the threads all srewed up.

I emailed them about it after my SECOND BIX (a BIX and a BIX-II) arrived with screwed up fittings. They replied that they knew about it and were TRYING to fix the problem. Good thing I had a tap and die set or I would have been SOL. They clean up with a good die, so don't go forcing it into your radiator without cleaning them up first.

A good fitting will thread in down to the o-ring seal with no effort. If a fitting does not start in easily, it's one of the bad ones. Clean it up with a die set before trashing your new radiator

i had a 4 bad barbs, 2 on my BIX2, and then i was supprised, 2 on the TDX.

I got them tapped properly, but i still got sent out some new ones.

    Id reccomend EK's barbs anyday.

Usually the waterblock fittings are already installed on all of mine, but not the heater core- makes it easier for shipping a radiator without the fitting on it. What really ticked me off was that they knew about it and continued to ship out suspect fittings for the buyer to deal with.
