we will see, last time I got an open box MB from the egg they sent it to me in the retail box, anyway I have all that stuff except the back plate . No big deal to me since I saved some nice bucks, but thanks for the 411.

Modern Ram, makes an old overclocker miss BH-5 and the fun it was
People mix up "bus speed" with FSB all the time. Besides that.. That's a crazy deal. I would never touch that board, but you still gotta love that price and performance.

Again can someone explain why it´s such a good deal when you can get say 2x dfi experts for the price?
I know the expert is using the AMD platform and Nforce 4 chipset but why on earth pay 2-3 times the price for a striker instead of the other mainboards????

Yea I know it 475fsb x 4 , but thats how its listed in the Striker bios.Originally Posted by nn_step
I guess price is a relevant thing, there is no way I would have paid 409.00 plus shipping for this board(actual price at the egg), but they sellout at that price in minutes. And they go for even more on Ebay, so based on today's motherboard pricing 256.00 seemed okay to me.
Now I just need to find a deal on some 8800GTX's![]()
