    Want A-DATA DDR500?

How much would you all be willing to pay for a 256mb stick that did 300fsb 1:1 FOR REAL?? Why can't someone e-mail a friend in Japan, get a dozen sticks and sell them on Ebay or something?

Just curious what the timings are when these guys get 'em up on the north side of 300...
    I don't care though...at 3,4,4,8 just imagine a 2.6@3.9ghz 1:1
How 'bout www.ebay.com.jp?? Is there such thing?

for 256MB A-DATA PC4000 i wouldn't pay more than AUD$112.91 per stick in their current state max between 274-283mhz at 2.85v

    for guaranteed 300mhz 1:1 hmmm US$100 = AUD$151 so yeah US$100-125 max

so i take it that its the a-data pc4000 thats the best right now and does 280fsb 1:1 at under 3v?

are there any reviews? sandra scores?

if itll do 280fsb at 1:1 then ill be dumping my corsair 3500 (providing its gonna have a lot more bandwidth than this corsair does at 230 1:1 and cas2/2/2/5).

yes i know thats why i want a quick answer, if its the answer i want ill order right now but i need proof of how good it is.

no point me swapping corsair 3500 230fsb at 2/2/2/5 if what im buying isnt a lot faster. If it does 280 1:1 then it should be faster even on slow timings. i get 3200 unbuffered sandra at this speed so if itll do 3500 and up then ill grab some.

    chainbolt's tested 12 sticks of 256mb a-data pc4000 and only 2 manage 283mhz at 2.85v on P4C800-E, the rest are between 274-278mhz at 2.85v so close but not 280mhz

    quoting chainy

I have tested now in total 12 modules ADATA DDR 500 on 3 different P4 (865/875) boards. The SPD timing is 3-4-4-8. But the modules are running at 2.5-3-3-5, and at highest frequency at 2.5-3-4-5.

The frequency range faultfree in dual channel is 274~278Mhz. Of course in Windows it's booting higher than that, the max I got with the best couple was 283Mhz.

It seems the IC7 does not like this RAM. The P4C800 and P4P800-E both are working well with it. That is RAM for boards which are not too "sensitive" with RAM.

Bandwidth on the P4C800-C at 275Mhz is 6500 MB/sec, so this RAM is far better than OCZ 3700.

    Awwwwww....
YOu guys are making the poor americans feel bad...when can WE get some? 278 1:1 at cas2.5 3,3,5 is decent. Some of the 3.2gHz guys could REALLY do some damage with these sticks.

Why is it that places over in Europe and Asia get these things before we do? I've never seen a stick of A-DATA on any US or Canadian site.

I have communicated wih A-data recently, and they may soon end up having 2 versions of this. I believe the recent PC4000 Winbond BH-4 ES (engineering sample) they showed is not yet available to purchase. I also believe that those chips if and when they come out, may be quite a bit better than the ones pictured above, at least as far as timings are concerned. Probably not that big of a concern if they are going on a P4 board. Just keep this in mind.
