B/S, the technology and knowledged gained thru development of enthusiast level boards can be applied to industrial applications. In fact, it is a core competency that most companies will not have.

I like what MSI has been doing sincle the K8N Neo Platinum. It was almost as good as the DFI implementation of nF3 250Gb, and it was also one of the first boards available. If they could rally Oscar to their cause; I could definetly see some great enthusiast boards, coming early too.
    Sigs are obnoxious.

well if xbitlabs would have posted the complete new from chilehardware it would be diferent.

But DFI is going away of motherboard market (only rd600 will be released for sure close to november).

p.d. Oscar will stay in DFI

"It is a well know fact that our industrial motherboards give us a more dependable year round business but there are no plans to stop production on our LanParty and Infinity line products. At the moment we still have LanParty and Infinity boards planned until Q4 2007 and R&D is constantly thinking of new boards to add to the planning."

And it is confirmed Entry level only solutions will be dropped.
Probably due to the low profit margins

I'm sure DFI will make a NF5 C55 based mobo for C2D as soon as the chip gets released.
