    7950GX2 owners please help....

    I have recently stuck a 7950GX2 in my P5W DH Deluxe.
    Everything is running fine, impressed with performance etc.
    3DMark06 = 8260 (stock clocks)

    However, I have noticed that the PCIe slot is running @ x8 rather than x16.
    Is this normal? Will it effect performance? Can it be changed?

    Maybe other people could check their systems and let me know....
    (CPUZ, Rivatuner, Everest etc. can all be used to check)

    I tried playing with the Asus PEG Link settings in the bios but could not get it to change

    ---------------------------------------
    Core 2 Duo E6600
    EVGA nForce 680i SLi
    Corsair Twin2X 8500C5 2GB
    Zalman CNPS9500-AT
    Leadtek 7950GX2
    2 x Maxtor 160GB SATA-II (RAID 0)
    Samsung SH-S183A 18x SATA DVD±R/RW
    Seasonic S12 600W

    Maybe it spreads both cores evenly over the x16 link.

    *Scores seem fine though!
