    WTF is wrong with newegg?

i ordered my E6300/motherboard last wednesday, most people have reported that they receive their stuff in two or three working days. they had my shipment scheduled for 8/15 but now UPS wants to deliver on 8/16. what kinda business lags 3 days behind the norm?

newegg quotes a 24-48 hour processing time before any order is shipped, weekends excluded. sounds like they met their statement, ups didn't.

I have had no problems with newegg. I ordered a sound card from them a few weeks ago. I didn't even pay for 3-day shipping, and I got my card within 30 hours. How many times has this happened to you? If it's a problem, then take your business elsewhere, I'm content with the egg.

That's about the only thing I can rely on newegg is the shipping. Their 3 days shipping is actually 2 days for me but hey atleast you guys dont got to pay tax.

personally, i am getting a little irritated with the egg myself lately. Their shipping has got expensive, and If u use fed-ex even more so now, so youre stuck with crappy ass UPS. Back in the day when the egg had cheap shipping+fed ex, it always had the best prices AND great shipping where id get stuff in 3 days. Lately ive been scopin out ZZF and not only are some of their prices better to begin with, its got free 2 day shipping to boot.
fedex for hiking their rates. They caused this mess.

Do think. As gas prices rise, so do their fares. They have to deal with it just as much as we do so they gotta stick the bill somewhere.

Newegg shipping is murder. But they ship FAST. Unlike ZZF. I'll put up with ZZF though. No rape with sales tax and I get 2 day shipping for 2 bucks. Can't beat that!

You use newegg for the reviews? Don't they modify and delete posts that are against products, only leaving lightweight negative posts?

UPS gets me my stuff early most the time, and they come to my house by noon, which is great. fedex if it rains, will delay the order a day from what i've noticed.

newegg, i ordered my last shipment at like 3 am, was shipped at 6pm over night got it the next day at noon

UPS sucks. but it really depends on the area you live in. out where my dad lives, fedex gets lost, and UPS actually comes on time and brings the packages to your door. here fedex rocks, they knock on the door and hand us the package when UPS has left several packages literally on the side of the road in front of our house.

its not newegg. its UPS for sure.

your ups driver should be fired, 100% of the time in my area, they ring the doorbell and leave it on the porch. if they are leaving it on the side of the road, go bring it in, and then call them asking where it is, and claim your insurance, and say that the guy always leaves it there. they will fire him, and you will get money, teach them a lesson.

I don't think I remember a single time when newegg didn't ship the same day for me...even on a certain extremely rare CPU and motherboard.

Newegg simply shows exactly the same information that UPS posts. It's no fault of theirs if UPS is slacking. And I've had UPS postpone shipments all the time...in fact it happens far more than half of the time for. The only way I feel remotely comfortable ordering using UPS is if I use one of their higher end services, like 2 day select or overnight.

Of course it varies area to area...for me FedEx is always great.
