after i've sold my pentium d i ran to the shp..bought the little conroe 6400 and gigabyte ds4..brought my rams(ocz 7200 2x1gb with D9 chips) with me coz i was afraid it wouldn't boot because of the 1,8vdimm of default
mounted/installed everything mobo 6400 air freezer 7 psu(enermax 565watts and tagan xxxwatts) x800 my rams..fired up...and d'oh..ain't doing post so i've tought it was the ram issue so i've changed them with some vitesta 667 did the same thing..i think i've tried like 6 different kits and the POS ain't posting
it's like not "reading" the cpu coz the fan it spins for like ..5 to 10 seconds then a selfreboot
so i've decided it might be the cpu..so i've took another 6400..did the same thing ....took another DS4...holy crap same POS..no post/boot so i've decided to ask for another motherboard..an asrock dualvista..and d'oh cpu works fine with my rams

and then i've decided to ask for a pentium d to use on the first ds4...took the 805...d'oh it posts w/o problems

so i've took the 6400 1 DS4 and 1 PD 805 at home
retried to 6400
pushed the button and did the same thing 5-1 secs on then reboot i left it going went to smoke outside and after i came back...it did the post!!! so i've restarted manually to check the bios..well no go..same again

and did the same thing today also

sometimes it posts let's say around 1 over 30 auto reboots

i've tried with F2 bios and F3b bios

nothing changed

and i'm still wondering what it could be?some hardwares problems of the mobo?but darn..2 out of 2 same crap

any suggestions/help is really appreciated
