Did anyone get speedfan working on the ds3? I tried and they were all reporting weird things however i might have been using an old version.

Anyone tried this with the 4.29 version of speedfan?
Speedfan 4.29 works great on my DS3. I'm using it to control my fan speeds right now.
Hmz, Fan control don't work on my DS3..
What for bios have you Dase ?
Know anyone how to change text in speedfan? I have tried rescource hack but it didn't work.

Temp 1 is the mobo temp 2 is the cpu temp 3 isnt anything. oops sorry temp 3 might be your ATI card. but i know it doesnt do anything since i have an nvidia card.
so be aware of that. also quickest way for you to know for sure is just run prime or SP2004 or a 4m Pi the first temp reading to jump up really fast is your cpu. and thats temp 2.
but the 3.3v the 5v and the 12v lines are just wAYYYYY off. totally wrong.
check them with a meter by testing a molex.
but this is normal it has never shown the correct voltage rails ever... not for me. not thru many intel and amd boards.

SpeedFan's reporting is very accurate here (A8R-MVP).
12v says 12.16v multi says 12.16v from molex
5v says 4.97v multi says 5.01v from molex
3.3v i measured from ATX connector ages ago and if i recall correctly it was up in the same range as 5v rail, something like 3.23v displayed when it was 3.28v actualy.
Not bad i'd say.
To allow Speedfan to control your speeds, you have to disable fan control in the BIOS. Then, in Speedfan, click Configure and go to the Advanced tab. Select the IT8712F chip, and in the list set "PWM 1 mode" and "PWM 2 mode" to "Software controlled." Click the "remember it" check box in each case to make it permanent. This will let you adjust the fan speeds from the main page.
