There is a new BIOS out from Asus that lets this board go over 400MHz FSB isn't there? I thought i saw someone post about it. I hope so because i just ordered one from eWiz.com for $209 + shipping.

it can be just over 400+ mhz boot from bios setting no prob
I am on the friend's home so I can't post. but I have confidence that p5b dx's Memory performance might be better than p5wdh a bit.
also you gotta understand how to tweak the memset 965 a little bit

for those who use TG ddr2, the settings memset 965 can be looked like this
no tweak yet, fresh install of windows xp..
general setting with 400fsb 1:1



same setting and 32m spi, vdimm 2.15v under bios

I can't either, but I can pass 10+ hours for dual sp2004 with real tight timing
Problems are:

1.Memtest 86+ is not even support any newer chipset
2. I can't trust memtest any more

and lets compare that to my non tweaked (because i can not go any tighter with this ram., its just cheap ddr667) Gigabyte DS3 that is $145 Retail.

Im not sure why this timing is 14.5 sec. i usually always get 14.3 sec. but thats not really a big deal.

14.3s is the soso 1m timing I will assume for that 3.6g conroe,
yet talking about the tweaking, if I set some main feautures under registry memory management settings, I am positive I can get 14.1 or even 14.0 for sure

Lestat, what is the max bootable fsb on the DS3? How is the board treating you? Any problems? I'm leaning towards this, might order oine tonight.
