    ice-man's cascade

Lately I got an order from one of the biggest hardware sites in germany, they want a 2 stage cascade. I put the cascade together in the last 3 days on the afternoon. I worked hard to get it ready today, charging will be done after my vacation, which starts tomorrow...

    The parts I used:
    1.stage:
    Danfoss SC21CLX
    Luve 139 condensor (1,39kw)
    0,88l Receiver
    Castel Sighglass
    Castel Filter
    Danfoss TS2 with 00 oriface
    plate HX
    R507

    2.stage:
    Danfoss SC21CLX
    small desuperheater
    Danfoss OUB1 oilseparator
    Danfoss high pressure switch
    Refco relief valve
    HD gauge
    R1150

Here the case for the cascade. Littledevil made it on my request, I really like it!

    And here finished:

Thx for all the nice words! I'm back from my vacation now, trying to get the cascade finished in the next days.

The cascade will be used for events like Cebit, so I don't think noise is a real problem. But maybe sound dampening will cut down the noise a litte bit.
Jack, you know I'm Danfoss addicted :P But maybe rotaries for the next cascade.
    Weight should be aroung 50kg

The cascade is almost ready, only some wires have to be taken, some insulation is missing... Load testing will be done tomorrow. I hope it gets a bit cooler tomorrow, I had more than 38°C in the garage today.

    wiring first stage

    She's running the first time

Hey there bro - Very nice looking piece of equipment you got there.... It's funny.... Few days ago your customer was chatting to me. I assume that this is the unit that is going to the Games Convention in Germany/Leipzig?

Are you gonna be there? If so - Let's meet
