    Very cool, too bad the motherboards are expensive and i do not even wanna mention the price of FB-DIMM....But that was always the case with Intel Xeon/AMD Opteron stuff.

    FB-DIMM prices don't vary much compared to ECC memory. I'm Still waiting for woodcrest to go retail...

    very nice, could you possibly test sli on that rig?
    obviously hacked drivers will be needed but that hasnt stopped you before

    Im intrested to see what difference having one 16x speed and one 4 speed PCI-E slot makes in Sli.

    Wow, great setup. One question: now that you have tested all the new upcoming CPUs out there, can you tell us which came out on top performance-wise: Conroe, Kentsfield or Dual Woodcrest?

    So, which is the all-around winner?

    And yes, SLI testing (or at the very least one 7950) would be nice.

    THks for the report coolaler, as above can these dual woodcrest CPU boards be OC with any app? As I guess most wk station boards wont have bios oc options?
