    hi!

what might be the better board for D805 overclocking and Conroe sometime later?

I havent seen the performance of one D805 in a 975xbx, but i've seen the good results of this processor in other Asus products, so IMO go for the Asus

The Asus P5WDH looks to be the board to have. Bad Axes' seem to be dying and taking some expensive memory along with them, when at 2.2 or above Vmem.

I'm leaning to the P5WDH myself at this point. But leaning - still need to see some more testing

BadAxe for me, I think, because I need 3 PCI-E (at least 4x or up) slots and Asus P5WDH offers only two of those. Now only if I could find one for a little cheaper ....

Yeah, I think I might choose this board because of its nice features you mentioned. Also, it has an SATA port that can be accessed (near the ethernet plugs) externally. That's awesome I think,

Keep the Asus definitely. We've seen enough of the Bad Axe and its inconsistent abilities

Are all of you people trying to say that the Asus is a more stable platform than the Intel made one? Don't mind if I LOL a little.
