Dammit, I think it was like maybe three weeks (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=98802) ago when I bought my Raptor X that I said to myself "Bandit" (that's what I call myself), "should you wait on the new Raptors that are coming out, you know they are coming. They are already in Germany, and WD confirms the model number but nicely tells you they cannot provide further information on that model number". Even Newegg had the old one's on freakin rebate; all the signs right in front of me. Why did I buy I just could not wait. I guess we all have this problem, oh well, I guess the Raptor X will make a pretty fast backup drive!

Does any one KNOWS FOR SURE that WD740ADFD is a SINGLE plate drive???
