when i use dividers, i have to increase vdimm for same ramsettings

    hi,

i have a problem with my dividers/bios/memcontroller perhaps.

my 2x512mb twinmos bh-5 old doing @3,3vdimm 263mhz stable 1:1, testet with prime, super pi 32m, goldmemory on my dfi nf4 and my san diego 3700.

but when i use the 166 divider like 310mhz x 10@166 and my rams are at same settings/ stressed in the same way, goldmemory find some errors, caused of the rams, because increasing the vdimm improving my overclocking.

the difference is perhaps is 8 to 10 mhz, thats awful !

    some suggestions, please.

are there divider-friendly ramsattings, bios other trick?

How are your sub-timings? if you set them in BIOS, some may make the RAM unstable. I keep mine set to auto, them play with them in A64 Tweaker if I need to.

    Hope this is useful somehow

Sometimes, it's not your time. Sometimes, you have to make it your time. Sometimes, it can ONLY be your time.

i have tested every subtiming step by step with goldmemory for the best result, but i can compare it with your suggestion.

i found the problem, my memcontroller is incompatible with trp2 and my divider/multi combination.

so i put trp to 3 and everything seems okay...

When HTT goes up, so must Max Async Latency. We made a thread about this sometime back. Very interesting it was.

I see what I see, and you see what you see. I can't make you see what I see, but I can tell you what I see is not what you see. Truth is, we see what we want to see, and what we want to see is what those around us see. And what we don't see is... well, conspiracies.
