    6800 2.8ns Memory Timings?

Can anyone get me some good timings for

    - Samsung 507
    - K402632386-GC2A
    2.8ns GDDR1

I can't overclock them past stock speeds (700mhz) so I thought i might as well improve the timings. Or maybe even loosen them and try to overclock.

    thanks.

That sucks, my ram hits 850mhz stable without volt mods.

You should really try a VDD mod.

loose timings and more speed doesnt always give better perfomance

I hit my speeds at stock timings, but I'm interested on what the performance would be like with looser timings and more clocks. Wonder if I could get near 900mhz.

Yes but I don't know what timings are good for this card, or what type of ram this is(I have heatsinks on it). I know it's not samsung memory though.

I'll give someone a copy of my BIOS though.

I get a very good score with an AthlonXP/6800 setup on 3dmark03. I pull off 11101 3dmarks with 420/850, and when I put my system in a deep freezer I can up the clocks to 451/870 on air(1.4v cpu). I'm wanting to increase it to 1.5v, loosen the ram and push the clocks higher, and see if I can beat the top score which is ~12k.

I was running 40c load in the deep freezer at 450mhz 1.4v artifact free. Condensation is scary though, I let it dry off for a while before running it outside of the freezer.

card died today. back to my x700 pro for a while

also 3dmark03 will be limited by your cpu. For example I ran it multiple times with 430/700 12x6 then 430/700 16x6 then 430/850 16x6 and the score didn't change.

My quad didn't unlock without artifacts I run it 12/6 420/850

    What killed your card?

i find that hard to believe. a 3.6ghz P4 isnt slow. you have any proof?

OMFG *drool* how did I pull this off?

It went nuts and crashed shortly after, but it was running ATI Tool without artifacts at that speed for a long ass time!!

I can't believe my DDR1 went over 1000mhz without voltmod. This is what I did.

600mhz is damn good, your timings are probably so bad that performance is worse, maybe not though, you should run benchmarks at stock and at your 1125 loose timings.

I want someone elses timings to compare to.

I only lowered the tRC to 17 instead of 16. It did get lower scores at 1000mhz with those timings vs 850 with stock timings. Not a lot lower, but lower.

I wish I knew more about these timings, it doesn't seem at all like tweaking regular memory. I mean where is the CAS setting? Lol..

I'm going to be experimenting with this, I can't wait to test this card out with my Athlon 64.
