i think for a WR it needs to be cpuz validated because my 3800x2 will do that but crashes on validation

I keep reading people say A64's will have shorter lives blah blah blah with higher voltage, but I really just don't think at this level its true. Its cooled well enough number one. And number two, I've pushed that through a few chips. The computer Im typing on has been on for three months (with no slowdown at all might i add...linux is so good ) and its been running at 1.75 volts for 10 months now.

Edit...maybe with crappy cooling it hurts, but i dunno. Im not trying to say you are wrong necessarily, but I have put high volts through my chips and my friends have also. I almost wonder if when some of these chips die out at higher volts its because of either a) heat or b) some motherboard or power supply bug/failure/spike....who really knows though

    10x guyz

    I run 2k6 @ 3.2 with my x1800xt and got 5300pts, with out the dual core i get 4k~

I got the cpu for one night to test.... so thats it 4 now :|

anyway those dual core at high vcore realy push the SS to the limit.... and beyond, when running dual prime @ high vcore the SS evap temp will rise slowly and at a certen point (when the evap gets up to -28C~(!)) the cpu will crush...

My SS is built of chilly1 evap, 0.31" 2.90m cap tube, r507a and nl11f.

    SS killer

u can check the wr db and see that there r ss wr...

but valid cpuz is the logical way to go, the cpu is not under my ss any more so nothing i can do 4 now, maybe next time.

What were the core temp on full load?

Who's cpu is it since you have to borrow it?

    Is it a N or a T chip?
