Better options then a Tforce board but clocks just as good. 1st DFI board I'm intrested in if the price is right in us bling bling. lol So impressave for a media board benches the same as a 6100 onboard. I like it more then my board if it was for 754... maybe I'll get it when I go 939 in the future. Wish they would make it for the 754 as well. Cus then that would be the best Matx 754 board. But now its just the Tforce thats the best 754. This DFI board looks to be the best 939 matx there is.
according to vr zone review .. its USD 125Originally Posted by TEDY

We found the DFI RS482 ideal for the no-frills seeker who hungers for an affordable and simple all-in-one solution. It functions very well as a Home Theatre PC, provides more than sufficient power as a workstation, and provides just enough graphical horse-power for decent gaming performance. As said before, it is well suited to be housed in a Mini ATX Case and placed just beside your TV, serving as a gaming console.
More than just this however, DFI has once again struck the overclockers' bell in our hearts with this RS482 board. From the abundant BIOS Options available, to the high CPU, HTT and integrated GPU Clock Speed it is able to scale up to, this board is in no way deficeit to any of the normal ATX boards out there. In many ways, it even surpasses some of these boards. For USD$125 (SGD$209) a pop, no one on the look-out for a cheap and fast all-in-one IGP PC should ignore this board.![]()

windwithme,
I do not need a gaming system so I was looking at the Asrock Dual Sata2 then I thought about a board with on board video and MSI K8NGM2-FID looks to be the best out there
All it needs is a modded bios for OC ... anyone know of a modded bios for this ... if a bios moder reads this, please help
I want to OC - I will be using a 165 UPMW
What do you think is better or what would you do ... get the 6150 board or get an Asrock Dual Sata2 and use an older Agp card like a Radeon 7000 or 8500 [ thats the ones I have ]? or get the board you reviewed?
Here is a great thread about the msi board, if you read it all it needs is a modded bios - forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cfm?catid=29&threadid=1803985 - great thread about the board
Ditto! I need one of these ASAP! The Tforce has been pulled due to faulty NIC problems.

The Biostar WAS cheaper though (like $65-ish vs $100-ish). I wonder how the 6100 OCs![]()

Ok, i got mine yesterday and i set it up. WTF is up with the BIOS? The first thing i noticed was the CPU voltages. The lowest voltage besides DEFAULT you have to choose from is 1.55V.. Umm, hello?
The second thing is when i do set it at 1.55, it still reads default of 1.37V.. Ok, we have an issue here already.
Another thing.. Ive done everything possible to keep the damn nic from booting... It still wants to boot although ive done shift/f10 and ediited it to not boot on lan.
Anyone else having these problems?
Ill be able to let you know in about half an hour. I got two yesterday.Originally Posted by Haltech
By selecting Int 18t after Shift/F10 allows it not to do the Lan boot thing.Originally Posted by Haltech
Has anyone successfully been able to get the component out to work? DVI/VGA works great. I cant get component out to work whatsoever. Ive played with the CC Panel for about an hour. It looks as if im going to have to purchase a DVI-Component Cable.
