    Talking HIS X1800XT = 12K easy with single core cpu!

    It was a long journey to reach 12k in 3dmark05 with my HIS X1800XT see http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=84800 and that was with dual core Opteron 170 and cat 5.13 drivers.

    But now 6.2betas made reaching 12k soooo easy and with room to spare on mem side of my HIS X1800XT and only using a single core Opteron 148!

    Opteron 148 @3102mhz
    512MB HIS X1800XT

    @621/747 = 9,543
    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=1783870

    @756/900 = 11,335
    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=1783893

    @816/963 = 12,040
    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=1783908

    Opteron 148@3102mhz
    X1800XT @816/963 CAT 6.2Betas
    vs
    Opteron 170@2950mhz
    X1800XT @816/981 CAT 5.13

    And 3dmark06 looks okay even with single core

    @756/900

    cat 5.13 = 4,621
    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=111233

    cat 6.2 beta = 4,994
    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=111286

    @816/945

    cat 6.2 beta = 5,260
    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=111573

    Nice Eva.

    Ive just had my cooling kit arrive, so ill be doing some clocking at the end of the week.

    Best on stock air i could do was 780/868. Ill wait for the official 6.2 Cats, they look good.

    oh single core didn't try higher than 816/945 for 5,260

    FYI, X1800XT max clock is 816/981 so had room on mem

    Ya beat me by 22pts due to solely your dothan cpu score

    Hmm, i can`t reach more than 11100 points in 3dmark05

    X2 4800@2800MHz + X1800XT@750/900 = 11089 points.
