The block must be -110 before boot .. But i also have a few benchs with P4 660.. With it when the unit was -125 it was booting .. 670 needs to be warmer to start .. Or mine needs to be warmer ..

7ghz 18s pi is pretty awesome Is that a tube running straight from the dewar into the cooler unit? That's pretty ineffective. Next time put a temp probe in the base so you know what your temps are at and hand pour the ln2 to hold the lowest temp you can.

Also, any details on the unit? Solid/brazed? copper?

There is a pumping mechanism on the dewar. Never had worries about the temp, also I had a probe but it is not at the base.. It is at the sidewall near to base outside. I had a 35lt dewar.. Wanna try to hand pour the LN2 from it ?? Always used the block 3/4 full of LN2 .. See -204C at the probe ( Fluke ) but dont know if it is accurate

The unit is brazed copper. First I used an aluminium unit but didnt like its performance. Then Brandybuck's copper DICE block was standing next to me. I thought why not ?? Just insulated it and assigned the mission ..

You pour from the dewar to a thermos or something then into the tube. I'm surprised it even worked well the way you did it. And with a brazed unit at that. That's one hell of a chip.

I know it, but i had many benchs with 2 different flukes, always gone under -200 when poured too much LN2 into the unit .. I will search about this situation more later on ..

I started the bench only to finish LN2 left in dewar .. I didnt expected these scores from that unit too,but never had problems about the pump also.. I understood what you mean, but pump is also very accurate and very easy to use.. Very very easy..

    Impressive overclock !. WTG!

Any info on the LN2 container?
if this is your first night in xtremesystems,
    you have to overclock.
