    My bong setup..

    Hey all..
My first venture into comp. modding/cooling...temps are 44c@load..1.584v (ambient around 28c-35c..dunno) 2620mhz(amd 3700+ on an asus sli premium)
These are from a video I took out from my Sony Handycam..so the quality aint good..I paused the video and hit 'Print Scrn'..heh..
(Any knows how to take pics from Sony Handycam DCRA-C121 please tell me )
    CPU waterblock (Dangerden TDX)

    Fan(Intake.Throws air at the CPU)

    Fan on the GPU

Intel Stock fan to cool the Motherboard Chip

    Top of the bong

    Middle-End of the bong

    End of the bong

    Bit of Cabby+Bong

    Pic of the pump

    Comp. table

Any suggestions/criticisms? (Apart from how untidy everything is )

I see cod2! And a mess! Temps seem high and clocks low though... Is it mounted well? Can your pump handle a bong that big?

    hello..
Its mounted well Im in Mumbai so its like hot here..I'd say ambient is 33-35C.....right now the A/C is on so the idle is 30C..the pump is awesome..(making a heck lot of noise..heh) I'll try and get a pic of the shower(to show the flow..)..Flow is very nice indeed..
There is no As5 or anything (not available here..) on the CPU..
    Any suggestions?

NO thermal paste on the CPU? You need to get some form of thermal interface...

Yeah, I was thinking. Holy crap, YAY A BONGER! And then the temps. Somethings wrong. Another thing to look at is a better fan for the input, those fans are too multi directional.

    Otherwise...

    YAY FOR BONGS!

your temps could easily drop by over 10C by adding thermal paste.

Heh. Doesnt seem like much flow, but a lot of head. A pump upgrade will help. Have you tried filling the bottom half of the bong with ping pong balls? And make sure you put a screen over the split so they dont fall out into the fan.

Adding quite a bit of heat into your loop running a pump that huge.

Even white thermal paste will work better than no paste at all.

This is avalable in ANY electronics place worldwide ... if you still cant get any there are other alternatives.

A screen like mesh or something air can get thru that ping pong balls cannot. You put it over the spot inside the bong were the fan break off is.

I am confused. Place the ping pong balls in the res, or in the Drop Chamber for the water? Is the water running over the surface of the balls better than just falling? Doesn't seem like having them in the res would do... well... anything... you know... as they FLOAT!

HEHEHE! One other thing to try with ping pong balls is lighting them on FIRE! They can actualy be ground up and used as a (poor) alternate for black powder (the things you learn when you work at a shooting range).

Hhhhmmm, maybe 4 parts rum, 1 part egg nogg was a poor choice of mixture. This post needs a warning label.
