Relax guys... I don't know how you guys are looking at it over in Taiwan, but here it doesn't really matter If kevinj is using hand-picked, pre-tested modules, with TCCD 0519. We have seen plenty of AWESOME overclocking TCCD and we all know, that only REALLY GOOD TCCD (maybe about 5-10%) will reach DDR600 6-3-3-2.5-1T perfectly stable (Prime95). It's no big deal, really!
We just can assume, that kevinj has some good connections with GeIL. Lucky for himBut we all make sure, to have realistic expectations. Even If GeIL wanted us to believe that all retail sticks do DDR600 7-3-3-2.5-1T (which I'm 100% sure IS NOT true) we know we have to be careful.

So what should he say then? We know that GeIL re-labels their ICs. Maybe someone at GeIL told him that those sticks are "Samsung TCCD 0519" and later they were re-labeled to "GeIL xxxxxx" ? Isn't that possible?

PS. Mark GeIL chip is 516 TCCD , not 519 TCCD.So GeIL One have 2 kinds of chips.But GeIL One SE is using GeIL Mark.So it is 516 TCCD.

why does it matter if GeIL puts their own marking on the chip? can you tell me whats wrong with that? even if the IC is not date 519 but can still run 300MHz 2.5-3-3-6 1T, why does it matter what date TCCD is used? AFAIK, putting GeIL markings only helps the company sort out their part numbers. so what if they wipe out the TCCD labels. a lot of companies do it with their memory.
I see so many Honda cars with Acura signs. does that mean anything? no. the stuff under the hood is still the same. the same applies to this GeIL memory. the point of everything is to show that their TCCD memory is capable of 300MHz 2.5-3-3-6 1T.
I dont see what your huge fuss is about and going around accusing people of lying. yes i understand that 519 TCCD may be a really good batch, but that doesn't mean ALL 519 TCCD can get great results. if ALL 519 TCCD achieved same results and GeIL went ahead and used something else but said they were 519, then yes i do agree that there is a problem. but unfortunately as with ALL TCCD, results vary. saying that its not week 519 doesnt mean anything in your argument. the results prove that the memory is good.
I happen to know that Geil do have 0519 TCCD chips, and personally i beleive KJ when he says his is 0519.
thats not to say all Geil One is 0519, and KJ never said they were.

buying a 3700+ doesnt mean its going to be 0515, buying Geil One doesnt mean its going to be 0519. but in both cases their is a chance.

The problem is Kevinj use ES 519 TCCD for the test and he thinks GeIL One SE is 519 TCCD.
But GeIL One SE is not 519 TCCD.It is 516 TCCD.
He went to GeIL technology Company choose the best memory and post in XS.This is not Retail GeIL One.It is just ES. I thought he makes the advertisement for GeIL.
