    Hi guys,

    I know that some of you have been waiting for this guide for a few weeks already and I apologize for the long delay. But now, it's finally done (not yet officialy published, but done).

    I don't really know what you mean. You can do the hardware VDimm Mod only, but then you won't be able to run any Vdimm higher than 3.2V. The hardware Vdimm Mod is just there to give you a more precise way of adjusting Vdimm and to eliminate the cold boot bug. If you want more than 3.2V Vdimm stable then you have to do the 5V Mod.

    i dunno unterstand, too ( meant i cant understand him ,too)

    in fact there are 2 mods as i can see one is for the max. Vdimm up to 4,5V with the 5V rail of the psu the other one is for booting problems with more then 3,3 here i have this problems with 3,6 and the booster so u will be able to boot with 3,8V without bootser, great thing! eh?

    if thats correct if not i didnt got it *lol*

    Well done

    I think ill be doing this mod on my board within the next few days.
    If I can come up with any improovements or easyer methods ill post them up.

    I just need to make a mosfet heatsink plate before I start.

    Nice to hear Holst. If you got any better/easier way, be sure to post it here. I would appreciate that. BTW, I don't think that a plate (like the one I made) is really necessary. IMHO, single heatsinks for each Mosfet would be absolutely sufficient. I just made the plate because I had that piece of copper left and thought it could perhaps help. But in the end, these Mosfets are designed to dissipate the heat to the PCB anyway. The heatsinks help, but mine seem to be a bit overkill.

    already done! i only did the 5V mod, with 4V Bios.... until now no problem...

    errr but one question again. if i do the mod without the diode in parralel, is that safe ? or it will blow the mosfet ?

    I'm sorry if this sounds a bit harsh, but do you know the meaning of OPTIONAL? Look it up in a dictionary.
