I will feel very angry, this guy still cheating other people that VF900Cu can cool the X1800XT to 55C in performance mode and 57C in slient mode.
And he is telling other people stock cooler is 77C and AcceleroX2 is 70C.

This kind of lying review is really mis-lead other customer and casue us waste $$
I agree 100%. I don't know where this guy got these numbers from. Everyone I personally know that have tried the vf900 got higher temps than they did with the stock cooler. Some of my friends use the accelero x2 and get much better temps as well. The only other review of the vf900 that I found was here http://www.pro-clockers.com/article.php?id=118&page=1 and it was tested on a 6800gt.

This kind of design is quite interesting

I didn't have time to finish my review yet...my dad was operated yesterday, mom is a little bit down ...

For instance X1900XTX stock cooler in max rpm and the vf900 at max speed too, comparing both in atitool for 10min for example... stockcooler wins...........BUT if we play for instance Tombraider Legends ...for the same period of time VF900 wins perfectly...

For what i tested so far...atitool generates an amount of heat so big that the max rmp of the zalman vf900 can't compete with the 5000rpm that the ati stock cooler give us.... but if we play the story is completely different...

I didn't record any temp on a file with ati stock cooler playing but i checked the temps and the difference between stock vs vf900 is huge.

I can't compare that to accelero cuzz i don't have any...

Check the temps using vf900 in tombraider

    I'm quite sure the VF900 @ 12v is a bit quieter than ATI stock @ 100%

lol yea, I agree with above, omg ATI stock can spin at up to 5000rpm? No wonder it sounds like a jet engine.

At 12v VF900 produces 25db ...didn't remember the db of x1900 stock cooler buit it's MUCH MUCH LOUDER, u can't compare them in that spec.

I didn't compare them "in that spec". logic at work here

VF900@12V makes less noise than 7800GT stock cooling @ 100% , which makes less noise than stock ATI cooling @ 100%.

Has anyone's motherboard temperature increased ever since they had an AC Accelero X2?

My motherboard temperate idles at 45C and sometimes goes above 50C during games!

I'm not 100% satisfied with the performance of the VF900cu With the fan in high setting it's quieter than the stock cooler on the X1900XT and cooler by 9-10 degrees but with the fan on low setting my temps were on 93 and raising so I decided to keep it on high all the time. Tomorrow if I get the tools I'll drill the holes on my Swiftech MCX462 heatsink and use that. Should be much better than VF900cu.
