    X1800XL 10K/20K air

710/800 I can run higher mem speed but I have to raise vcore. I been trying to bang this one out and picked off two goals.

    2K3 and 2K1 ran at 700/800

Linked below is a 2K1 run as well with pi and everest.

Its just the driver I was checking out.

I cannot submit results yet, need a futuremark qualified driver.

3-2-2-4 @ 375FSB 1:1 is the max I can run tightest timing on this memory. I will loosen it up and go for 40K netburst on 2K1.

    Impressive.

What voltage you running at? I got like the same core as you and I'm very curious of how to crank it up just a wee bit more

    Looks good Fugger

OK, so what BIOS on card and voltage on core? Were voltages set via ATI Tool, Winclk or Overclocker, they each seems to set different voltagages. Well at least ATI Tool and Overclocker do, I don't know about Winclk.

Either way it looks like I need to go back and do some more air testing, the cold bug I have yet to solve.

    Developer tools, I cannot share.

The XT bios I can share but handing it out is so dangerous, if you want to try it I cannot be 100% positive your card can run the new settings without image corruption at boot or even complete black out of card.

Max PCIE 115Mhz gave me almost 1000 points. Card is at 710/800

This score beats the current #1 Intel netburst (held by me with GTX) single card 2K1 My previous #1 was at 5.7Ghz

The GTX was on water with 225w pelt too

Im sad I cannot max memory speed with lower vcore as I know I do what GHZ hits.

It is my rig in the sig below. Its a 24/7 machine I game on. The motherboard is droop and core modded.

This is the same mobo I hit 450FSB on and benched at 404FSB 1:1 with the same memory on cascade.

    Hey FUGGER,

What clocks on those last two runs?

I actually hit that memory speed on my card with 1.225 core voltage. I might just have to send you my card so you can flash it for me I'll try some existing DOS flashing util's and see if I can get anywhere.

    Thanks guys,

This is an XL with a hard pass on current 256MB GTX for single card. I am waiting for XT from ATI before I go phase. I am down to one card and I dont want to mess this one up without a backup.

When flashing the bios with high overclock on CPU the x1800 will go blank for a few seconds and distort the screen to unreadable (looks bad) when you are flashing the rom. DO NOT REBOOT or interupt flashing the screen will return to normal when completed and stated it has completed sucessfully.

If you flash and have corruption, you need to cool the card more. Pay close attention to the mosfets on the face of the card. They will overheat with the new settings if not cooled by extra fan.

Do you find the XT bios does a better job than the stock shipped XL bios? If so why do you figure this is? If more testing is done I would love to flash my new card to see what I can come up with. Good job. BTW, what manufacturer or card is your XL?

I can do the same on the XL bios it doesnt seem to matter at all as I hit my highest numbers on XL bios. The XT bios has voltages and clocks set higher and works on my card that is the advantage to the XT bios if you can run it 24/7.

The other major difference I can see is the 512MB ram in certain tests vs the XT, Macci's 2k1 nature is most obvious to me.

I cannot hit the XT overclocks but I get close, it will be no contest once the memory is unlocked from the core.

Thanks for the response. One thing lacking right now is the ability to flash new volts and clocks to a current card for constant availability right from the cards bios. Seeing as though all overclocking tools are in their infancy they can't even retain setting changes after a system reset meaning everything has to manually be reset each time. There is speculation on whether these programs are even working 100% as results vary greatly between program used and cards used upon.

In time, like you said tools are infant again but in the end we have a lot more control. I have faith in ATI tool giving us that functionality soon.
