I also have a ver. 1.03 P4GPL-X board. Interestingly, manual vcore settings work sometimes right after clearing the CMOS. Options go from 1.1875V to 1.7000V in 0.0125V increments. I've only had this happen twice (both times tonight), usually the only option is Auto.

Vcore changes seem to stick after reboot, as the BIOS hardware monitor reports 1.672-1.688 as vcore voltage after changing the setting to 1.7000V. I thought I read on the forums that the board overvolts... that doesn't look to be the case with mine.
