I haven't got a board so can't comment to much but i have seen the board has been doing 530fsb.
So much to those who thought the chipset could only do 420ish tops...LOL
bring it on...i know i can't wait now![]()

You're excited - there must be something good about this board then! Can't wait to see some proper FSB boards out. I was hoping to go for something like the P5W64-WS Pro + E6400 but this might sway me.

No - I decided that my watercooling needed an upgrade - and the £70 saved meant - heatercore > Thermochill PA120.3, Dual AqX 50Z > Dual Laing DDC Ultra w/Aphacool, Swiftech MCW30 northbridge added, Asetek Res > DD fillport + MCRes Micro (I have a reason for this) from what I have seen, I think the E6400 should clock just as well give or take 100-200mhz. I did a DSR 2000 as soon as I got it.Originally Posted by [timko]
Now, I have the decision of waiting for the RD600 or getting the P5W64 - and from Tony's thread, it looks like the RD600 might be something special- only how long I have to wait further annoys me. Still, I'll finally have a job soon (after finishing uni) so maybe I'll experiment.

Memory control has so many problems, so Oskar_Wu delay RD600.
new chipset, async memory clocking - bound to be issues for a while yet, it's good that DFI are trying to get it right before launch rather than after..
I'll wait and see...
DFI Infinity 975X/G and their support scared me...![]()
Its fake! We want facts![]()
Got r00t?
LOL...fake, ohh man if I told you everything I would have to shoot you straight after I did ..LOLOriginally Posted by sombrio

cool, i still might get a p5b deluxe and try and sell it for RD600, its hard for me to wait so long
that sort of FSB in internal testing is mighty good but there are a few things DFI does which i don't like
hypes products way too early
takes waaaay to long to reach retail in australia (last board i got >> Expert i had to wait a cool 1.5 months AFTER it was made available at the distributor)
the products are bloody good but the wait man oh man
now i think there's actually something to look forward to anyways so that's a good thing![]()

Looking at the digital VRM of the Nvidia board it should be. Gone are the bulky electrolytic caps and in are smaller SMD ceramicsOriginally Posted by Absolute_0

I'm inclined to believe that if Tony says it hit 530fsb, it certainly does. There is no way Tony would have posted the info it it was not true.
i thought this board was dead......is it going to be released?.......if so it probably will be the last intel chipset from ati, i probably wouldnt buy it, because i dont think support will be too great.......ati=amd....also amd is going to use the amd name for the motherboard chipsets, and will keep the ati name for video, so i cannot imagine a amd chipset for intel, LOL.
And quite frankly, when was the last time you saw Tony actually post something like this - if Tony is excited, I'm pretty sure there is good reason to be. I just hope he will be doing some more BigToe BIOS's for the board - I remember the best DFI BIOS I ever used was the 704-2BTA for my Ultra-D - the only competition that came for that BIOS was one which was released almost 9 months after his one in the March 29th 2006 BIOS (329).Originally Posted by raju
