Greetings to everybody.
Just to declare right at the begining, I do not have any of nice tools like others do, I smiply DIY.
My tools are basicaly: drill, rasp, hammer and my hands, no dremel, no cnc etc.
Nothing more for now, the next project I hope will involve some more advanced technology
Also, I don't have much funds, but simply doing my best for a buck.
My last excuse would be that I live in Croatia, Europe and I don't have any water cooling parts available, all I have was brought from EK, Slovenia. (I miss bitspower compression and elbow fittings most)
The case?
Believe it or not, under the plastic bag is black lianli PC-A05
I suppose you're all well introduced with this case. I've chosen it because it is small and still it supports full ATX MBO's.
Components for the pc will be my "old" Q6600G0, 8GB ram, biostar tpoweri45, 8800GT...
I've bought some new thingys:
Kaze Q, 4-channel potenciometer.
The texture of the aluminium on kaze simply doesn't go well with lianli's panel:

And as this is THE lianli, i said myself, that isn't nice at all.
So I tore apart kaze:
And made front panel for kaze from the 3.5" original bay shutter:
ALERT awesome picture ALERT
(my excuses for that, it's just that I have only compact sony w70, and poor lightning condition, so I'm proud for every picture that comes out nice. But I dream about, let's say, olympus e520, for a start)
Now, on to water cooling parts:
For NB block I simply recycled old one from my P5K which has hook mounts, drilled the holes in plexi for tpower, and painted it black:
SB block, LGA775/1366 mounting plate, ordered from EK:
This just left the MOSFET part uncooled. WB for that doesn't exist, so I took the stock cooling solution, disassembled MOSFET part from heatpipe and NB part, added so called "crazy cool" part, and instead of push pins, mounted it with screws.
In the end, I came up with somethin like this:
The system will have 2xmagicoolpro3 radiators:
I went shopping the other day, bought some nice stuff (6x120mm, antifreeze, decoration sticker)
The child in me always wants to play, so I've built a tower![]()
That seems powerful, don't you think?
The pump is ddc-1t modded in plus version, and is mounted in two 5.25" cages with rubber from inner blown tire of my bicycle (I don't use cd/dvd readers). The rubber actually totally kills the vibrations
Enough for today, just two teasers:
Sketchup for rad holder
And a carbon fibre imitation sticker
Comments are welcome.
Tomorrow I'll add some more photos![]()
