I must admit i´m pleasently surprised with my Mushkin special 2-2-2.
So far i´ve been able to rund 3DM and superpi at 240fsb 1:1 at default max of 2.8v on my K8V deluxe.
Pretty fantastic! - just a shame that i need one gig of ram instead![]()

Very nice! My 2x256mb sticks took 3.1v to get that high. Are you running a 512mb stick?

yea im planning on getting 2x512 of this ram ...since i need 1 GiG. And since im moving to England in Sept. for uni ...i cant bring my Big ass Benching rig with me anyways ...so won't matter that much how they perform ...as long as i can still game good![]()

Your ram is NOT running at 2.8v.
Selecting 2.8v in BIOS on Asus K8V Dlx gives 2.97v real.
#4 yeah i´ve heard about k8v overvolting - but that´s just nice!
yes it´s 2x256mb i also need one gig so I think i´ll look for som ocz EB ´cause i have no idea how high mushkin 2-2-2 2x512mb will take me - looking for 240-250 1:1 action
If it's 2,95-3v real they are about as good as 3 of my 4 TwinMOS BH-5 sticks, they will bench Super PI, Pifast etc (haven't tried 3DMark) at 250 2-2-2-x with 3,1v on my NF7. Nice for those BH-6 sticks.
Vil du selge dem billig kan du kontakte meg.![]()
yeah i´m prette impressed myself.
(har et bud på 1300kr for dem nu, så det... smid en pm eller mail hvis det har interesse)
very nice memory![]()
nice memories indeed. mine also take 3.1 to do 240fsb.
havent't heard that a bajillion times...Originally posted by rro

What if this is the first time he has hit 240+ fsb. It may be a big deal to him ya know.
I remember the first time I hit over 220 fsb....I was a happy camper...now I laff at that.
I like my women the way I like my processors...naked.
I am not the HellFire that writes bios files. I work strictly on voltage modifications.

Well if those were really 2.8V, I haven't ever heard of that![]()

My best stick of BH5 (Twinmos) does 243 2.5-2-2 @ 2.9v in my shuttle. Second is 236Mhz @ 2.9v. also ive got two that can only do 224Mhz on 2.9v .. not to good. Good enough for my gaming rig tho..
Even if your mobo is overvolting, 240 @ 2.95 is nice. Many BH5 needs 3.1+ to do that.
Well, it's still not bad![]()

I know that 240 1:1 is not extreme in here;-) but since the main focus has been on the "old" bh-5 chips. I think that this shows that these bh-6 isn´t that bad at all;-)
Maybe i should try a vmod of the vdimm before i change to 1 gig - just to see how these babies runs with more voltage!
If you do a Vdimm modd then tell how it turns out... I might be interested...
