    Mo-ra

i think of getting one of these radiators, but how much flow will be killed by 8 meters of parallel copper tubing?

    it is thishere

surface area is 3.5 m², how much has an Bip 3 or an PA 120.3?, and will it cool better than this ones? it can hold up to 9 fans but i will only get for 3 or four

what you guys here think about it? i´ll get it for 50€ is that a nice deal?

Did some tests a while back.

My test setup used around 3 meters (9,8 feet) of the above tubing in an open loop(sorry for not using shorter tubing, but had to avoid flooding my bathrooom :P). As you can imagine this is a significant flow restriction by itself, but here are the results.

    Mora 2 vs 1/2 Laing D5

    1 pump+ tubing, no rad
    4,62 l/min
    1,22 gal/min

2 pumps + tubing, no rad
    7,06 l/min
    1,86 gal/min

    1 pump+ tubing, Mora 2
    3,33 l/min
    0,88 gal/min

    2 pumps+ tubing, Mora 2
    4,62 l/min
    1,22 gal/min

...Hey, still haven't received my 1/2 (12,7 mm) tubing and fittings, however I found some 12 mm tubing and some cheap PVC Fitting (which have a horrible 7 mm ID), so i did a small test until my ordered stuff arrives (hopefully still this week), again 2 D5s (this time no single pump test, next time it will also include single pump data) and again 5 Metres of Tubing.

Since one guy from a german forum wanted "realworld" results with more components, i also added a Nexxos XP Rev 2, to the loop. Ok here are the results:

2 Laing D5 vs tubing and fittings
    10 l/m
    2,64 gal/m

2 Laing D5 vs tubing and fittings, Mora 2
    6 l/m
    1,58 gal/m

2 Laing D5 vs tubing and fittings, Mora 2, Nexxos XP
    4,29 l/m
    1,13 gal/m

2 Laing D5 vs tubing and fittings , Nexxos XP
    6 l/m
    1,58 gal/m

that´s a lot but i can´t believe that 8 metres copper tubing can kill that much flot

hmm i think of getting this one anyway and build it onto my new to be htpc for passive cooling everything

I would prefer any dual or triple rad, with low flow fans like Yate Loon D12SL-12 at 5/7 Volts, very quiet, better performing than a passive mo-ra, cheaper, smaller.
