1st bug/issue found with E8500 cpu on Asus Blitz Formula 1402 bios, when set to 9.5x 333FSB default cpu speeds, it's reporting FSB as 352FSB thinking the cpu is 9x multi instead of 9.5x multiplier.

ok, so how do you make it work...

not yet.. probably easier and faster for author to compile bin and exe when updating this beta version to get fixes done quickly

This beta sizes my 8GB memory incorrectly.
    I have four regions:
    0 - 3GB
    4 - 6GB
    6 - 8GB
    8 - 9GB (remapped 3 - 4GB region )

The 0-3GB region is detected instead as 0 -2GB, testing time for this region confirms this (it is the same as other 2GB regions, should be 1.5 times more).

1.70 does not have this problem.

By the way, the easiest and fastest way to use memtest is load it with grub.

Off course you can do it like usb method. You can make a bootable floppy (i use dr-dos) and then just put mt200b7.exe.Next steps are the same like usb flash method ..

Getting it to run on a floppy is easy.

Copy rawwrite.exe and install.bat into your memtest folder. Then rename the *.bin file to memtestp.bin. Now run install.bat and you are good to go.

what I did was just format a disc in XP, and set it to "create MSdos bootdisk"

then at the A promt, type in the file name

    No probs saaya.

Kunaak, that can be done as well. I just like to keep a dedicated floppy for memtest. I'm happy to report that it works with no issues. All timings are reported correctly.

On X38 (Maximus Formula) timings are incorrect also.
But this is a beta so it will be perfect by the time it goes official.
