Hi there, after hanging around here for a while, and watching a lot of threads, now it's the perfect time to post my First Messsage So first introduce myself: I'm Maarten van Hooft,15 Years old, living in the Dutch, and maybe you've sometime see my name @ GoT. Enough talking, let's go to the results:

So, let's takes the following ingredients:

*Take the best stick from a set of 2 x 512 MB Team XTreem PC6400 4-4-4-10 D9GMH, and put 2.8 Volt at the stick.
    *E6300
    *Coolermaster Xtreme Power 430 Watt
*Ati X300 because I blewed my 7600GS (at the Background of the pic of the cooling)

*And ofcourse, a bit of luck

Put this all together, what do you get?

    Validation

I believe these are different WR's.
    yes your cas 3...

but your cas 3-4-3 and single channel, while Yoxxy was cas 3-3-3 and dual channel.
Yoxxys was a much harder OC to achieve, as I am the one he took that WR from, so I know how scary it can be to push 3.4 volts into your ram to get cas 3-3-3 stable, and keep dual channel.

its a great OC... but almost too different to be in the same catagory.

If I good remember Yoxxy have 546Mhz with single CL3 WR, not dual. But I think 2,8v very low voltage for 550Mhz

    From Yoxxy's post:

    System Specs:
    Motherboard: P5N32-E SLI
CPU: X6800 @ 3900.00 on Jinu Modded VapoLS, Thanks Again!
    Memory: Single Dimm 1 GB Corsair 8888C4D @ 3-3-3-8-2T (546.0 MHZ)

How do you can run dual Channel with just one mem stick?

It's typical for nf chipsets - it's just fault of CPU-Z and it doesn't recognize correctly if Dual is on or off E.g. on the same motherboard I had always Dual... even with one stick in computer

Yoxxy's great OC was made with one stick so it is single channel, although it was one 1 GB stick... not 512 MB, so it was harder to achieve

Yes single dimm, 3-4-3-x on p5b is much easier though. With stick maybe 580 is possible on p5b. I will try a bit later.

hmm, but the whole reason behind doing 3-4-3 on p5b is because of trcd set to 3 = slow, right?? or is setting trcd to 3 even if it slows down still difficult??

And I was saying I had terrible RAM when at 2.353 my RAM wouldn't be stable at 485? Or, does the .5v not compare to 65MHz?

    3-4-3-7 at 552 (1,104).
    That is indeed VERY impressive.

And, these chips weren't on, LN2? Dry Ice?
They were on, air? (I see the cooler. :P Nice Home-Made concoction.)

    Good job.

Yes, I did it with my home-made, but exactly with this score, I had another 80 MM fan on the other 80 MM fan. But i put it off, because I needed that one, maybe i still have a pic with the 3 fans on it.

When did I say anything about '24/7 stability?' I questioned the integrity of the record that he's claiming. A first time poster who's 15 years old claiming to have the Cas 3 WR when it's the easiest thing to fake will make any non-gullible person skeptical. It's been tried before on here several times and it's a known glitch in the program. Until a well trusted member on here verifies that this is legit or a video showing this speed from boot most people, including myself are going to really question it.

Atleast say you used 3.4v vdimm or something.... 2.8v no matter how good those rams are is pretty low at that speed....

For DDR2 2.8 is pretty much. 3.4 is almost the double of the spec of 1.8V.
3.4 would be a suitable OC voltage for DDR, but for DDR2?

Some people use 2.3V for 600+
