if it is boot stable but not PI stable, it still isn't stable

Modern Ram, makes an old overclocker miss BH-5 and the fun it was

Guys, remember, don't go out buying this memory thinking your guaranteed the same results. This is one guy, one set of ram. And also, not that I'm saying anything either way, but we don't know this member or where he comes from. So keep all of this in mind when deciding on a memory purchase.

relax man , there's no reason for us to believe your results are fake.

He's just saying another set of Kingston RAM might not have the same overclocking potential.

Why do you find what I said offending? If you haven't been here at XS awhile, or get behind the scenes, you don't know the gross amount of product marketing that goes on here, especially from seemingly "independent/average" members. I'm not saying he's a bad guy, or anything, all I'm saying is that we do not know him yet. So if he comes on the boards posting these amazing overclocks with some KHX that up till now has been a rather dormant brand since the BH5 days, you'll have to excuse me if I'm a little suspicious, and given the current state of these forums, I don't feel it's unjustified.

Also, as you can see from this thread, there are a great many members here (newer especially) who will see a post like this and immediately head to newegg or their favorite e-tailer to buy it thinking they'll get the same, or very similar results. And really, until we've seen 10 or more of these kits doing these speeds from retail samples, we know nothing about their average ocing potential. So all in all, I was merely giving the general membership a heads up, as many people (as GrimReaper can attest) fall into these sort of these.

Now may I say I think the thread creator's results are very impressive and the sticks themselves seem to be excellent. So congrats on both. I meant to disrespect or disruption to yourself or your thread. Just trying to share some caution, which I hope you can appreciate.
