    Don't buy ASUS

Simply because these mobo are affected by bugs ( Sata, sound ) , the Asus engeneers don't seems to fix the bug as quickly as eVGA or BFG.

Spend your money in eVGA mobo or BFG, ref board, and with extra reactive support.

It is niceprice here in sweden on the eVGA board this week
they sell it about 100$ cheaper this week.

    Is that a god board?

You know, i'm not a real good awesome ocvercloker, but i have own asus striker and p5n32e-sli and evga mobo.

The asus mobos have issue sound and sata, and the striker is overpriced.

The eVGA is ugly, but work like a charm for the very first start, i could do 455x9 with all auto voltages ( except the vcore ), no crash, just work as i expected, sound is good in sli or not, no sata issue, so my choice is simple i let the evga one in my rig, ugly but it work.

i thought eVGA 680i's were the ones with SATA Raid issues.. =S

I have the ASUS P5N32-E SLI. And i have no issues with sound (no SLI) or SATA alone. Works fine for me =P

Yes evga was the one first with issues, sata of course, but now, with the FIX there is no issue, ASUS mobos still have the bug, some have some not, if i'll buy a mobo i prefer do no take the risk of picking one with the bugs so my choice is eVGA.

@spookz: you have chance you pick one w/o issue. Try games in SLI for sound testing.

    2) The asus support is crappy no others word for them.

Wait, I would not buy any of the boards right now. The ASUS is overpriced and they have to address the SATA and sound issues caused by the 680I chipsets, the ref boards are crap(my opinion) Hold off one more month and see what abit's and msi offerings look like.

Mustang, i think the original poster wants to buy now so the offer is not huge.

go for eVGA or BFG one.

Yes, 680i is still very hit and miss, as is 650i to a lesser extent. Wait for the ABIT, because I hear it hits 500fsb.

Yeah I would be holding out for those to big shots. Both of them are known for good overclocking boards and great features.

Lets hope they dont disapoint us.

IN9-32X is supposed to retail for something like $349.99 but I'm sure it'll drop to $299 and $249 shortly thereafter to compete with other 680i boards.

Im no expert atall but what I read sofar about 680i is dissapointing. Was there ever a Nvidia chipset that worked well on Intel?

Why do you have to have Nvidia? At the moment 965 chipset boards seem to do alot better anyways? P5B Deluxe is a fine board, mine was running happily around 490FSB or so no problems without much trying.

So my question again, why would anyone want to buy a Nvidia mobo. I know too little about these mobos to know what is so good about 680i but I know its pretty stupid to buy it if there are more mature Intel chipsets that work well with no issues.

Lastly, why is the top 680i boards $150 more than Intel based boards? Really stupid to buy a $400 mobo thats full of issues.
