    FSB 601 on P5K-E & E6300 @ 4172Mhz on Water

    Today i've tested an little E6300 with my watercooling und also my Asus P5K-E with the stock-heatpipe.

    E6300 SL9SA L628B366
    Asus P5K-E (Bios 0602)
    2gig Crucial Value DDR2-800 with D9GKX
    HD2900XT

    Watercooling with D-Tek Fuzion on CPU & GPU.

    Thx

    For the FSB-test all voltages of the mainboard was on maximum and the Vcore at 1,45V. For the maximum test the cpu got 1,58V.

    Thanks! I don't know the max load temp, because i've only tested SuperPi without watching the temperatures. In bios i had round about 30°C with ~1,6V.

    No, because this cpu isn't mine and the owner want it back. today it is the last day with the cpu.

    I don't know other times with the E6300 or E6400 @ ~4Ghz.... so i don't have a time to compare.
    My run is without maxmen and copywaza...

    How do you get such low temps with watercooling?? I see core1 5C and core2 8C.

    I Think these temps are readingerrors of the sensors. Outside it was ca. 10°C and with 1,59V the cpu hat round about 30°C.

    The "core1 5C and core2 8C" were reading with 1,17V und idle...., but i don't think, they are right...

    Any mods used on the P5k-e wifi/ap and what's your board revision? Could you please post your bios settings, I temporarily purchased the P5k-e wifi/ap yesterday just to test out my e6300 and ram... Thanks.

    The ram can do 600Mhz no problem, at least on 300 fsb on a 1:2 (2.1Ghz) with only 2.2v on the memory! And I accidentally update to the p5k-e latest beta bios but what i really wanted was the P5k-e wifi/ap ones (0602). Maybe that's why I failed the blend test on Prime95 and instability at 3.6Ghz or maybe this is as far as my e6300 can go?...

    No, there are no mods on the motherboard. It is all stock. I don't know the revision... when i have time i will look

    Here my bios settings:

    (Boot with 540Mhz and then in windows with SetFSB)
