    First Time H20 + Lian Li 343B - Pics

My first attempt at water cooling. I did a couple of TEC's a few years back and with todays temps I felt I needed to try something other than air. I am waiting on a couple of parts for the case that will be in on Tuesday. I sleeved the pumps and 6 Loon's. The rads have been cleaned, the fans installed and mocked up for now. I shoud be up and running on Thursday. Is there a definitive answer on the DD full vs MCW60 temps? I have both setups in hand and can go either way.

    few questions:

where do you plan to put optical drives or hard drives?

whats the point of two 120.3's (not saying that it doesnt hurt)

I use a USB burner. There will be 2 HDD in this bracket above the dual PSU's. One 74g Raptor and a 160g. I have a file server in another room for storage. Two loops, one for CPU/NB and one for the 2 GTX's.

Congratulations! I'm going for three loops myself lol

Should think about some shrouds on those PAs. I think you need a desk that can support your LCD, which ever model it is (I know its not a 3007WFP). The center seems a tad sunken Nice golf pics!

Yes it is a Westy 37" So far so good. Been pretty happy with it.

Nah, the top of the chair makes the table look bowed in that pic.

The rads are Swifty's there were no PA's available when I purchased.

I do occasionally enjoy a little time on the links

also... why do you have both rads blowing out of the case? that's probably going to screw up the airflow patterns that the case was designed for

The case is a cube split in half length wise, the flow is straight through as long as the fans on the front and rear are facing the same way. I don't see any difference unless you were running a top mounted rad which this case is designed for but I am not. I will be turning them around though the first time I take it down just to compare temps.

    another one!....

Looking cool doubage , these 343B's are all iv'e been thinking about the last two months, well that and what i'm gonna put in them. I also was going to use those same Loons on a 120.3 in front right, but intended on using the top cut out for a 120.2 for the second loop, and the left front for optical and HDD. But, like you i want 2 psu's, what size are you putting in? And what country did you buy your case and accessories in, if you don't mind my asking?

    more pic's... keepemcoming!

Swiftys are good.. very good.. In fact, I was having crazy ideas about having Swifty sandwiches (double rads) in those bays. I see that you prefer the appearance of the single bay covers, as I do. It gets expensive though.. about $180 just for those bay covers.

I wish I can find the ceiling radiator adapter. It would be perfect for me because my intent is triple loops. I'm going to need many loops in my upcoming AMD system that is going into this case because of high heat generation from multiple sources. I playing with an Intel system into a MM U2-UFO Optimax right now.

What's the rez on the Westy? Oh never mind.. 1080p. I should have known Its even bigger than my WFP, but the Mrs. freaked out when I asked for another WFP side by side lol

I don't get enough time on the links, but I traditionally play Kapalua in January right after Tiger goes through the course Yeah. I get to play at Winged Foot once in a while as well

Sorry to be O/T but imagine your 30" flanked by two Dell 1907 Ultrasharp's rotated 90 degrees. You wind up with 4950 x 1600 rez. Now *that* is sick. . . Yeah the gf shot that idea down too.....

Triple loops?!? To cool what? AMD 4x4 + SLI 8800's? You might be able to do trip rads in a MM U2-UFO Duality.

I will be comparing those blocks as well as the EK FC-8800 in my rig. Link to work log: here. I'll also be playing around with the Swifty Apogee 1U's with 226 watt pelts. I'll have this all sorted in about 3 weeks. I still don't have all the blocks in hand and one of my 8800GTX's died and I had to RMA it. Setbacks really do suck.

Yeah. . .I showed that to a friend who is a video producer and plays with MS Flight Simulator and he had me make him a system that could do that. Imagine spending like $5K on a set up just to play one game?

I have seen the westy and honestly the dell would just make the westy look like ass. The resolution for the size is not that great, and neither is the refresh rate (contrary to the adds), as well as overall image reproduction quality. I would replace that tv with the dell UltraSharp 3007WFP 30" and call it a day.

Though the westy make a great 1080p capable tv at a great price when you sit far away
