Looks like a really nice board. Any idea on price?
this is awesome for the home theater guys.
i think that a 2400pro or even a 2600xt and a p5k-vm will be cheaper
5930k, R5E, samsung 8GBx4 d-die, vega 56, wd gold 8TB, wd 4TB red, 2TB raid1 wd blue 5400
samsung 840 evo 500GB, HP EX 1TB NVME , CM690II, swiftech h220, corsair 750hxi
I'm keeping a close eye on this one, keep it under $180 and let it overclock as good as the P5K-VM/G33-DS2R, and I'll take it without question. I hate the vanilla/tan color that ASUS likes to use on their boards, it's so ugly looking.
The only different between the G33 and G35 chipset is the integrated graphic chip, correct?

the question is, will you be able to pump audio, namely TrueHD and DTS MA through that, or is it video only?

I really don't see anything special about this board. And I see no reason that abit board wouldn't be able to output at 1080p, if anything that ATi chipset would have a little more oomph.
This gigabyte mobo has had hdmi for a while too.

I guess its just the 690 chipset.
