I'm keeping a close eye on this one, keep it under $180 and let it overclock as good as the P5K-VM/G33-DS2R, and I'll take it without question. I hate the vanilla/tan color that ASUS likes to use on their boards, it's so ugly looking.

The only different between the G33 and G35 chipset is the integrated graphic chip, correct?

Normally, an intergraded video output is VGA..

You can get a Cheap Cheap 7100 Series Video card from XFX that has DVI on a PCI-E format.

That's weird. I thought HDMI was up to 1080p or nothing. It can be a typo...

This board has nothing on my 2600pro htpc.

the question is, will you be able to pump audio, namely TrueHD and DTS MA through that, or is it video only?

What, decoding 1080p? I wouldn't think it'd be too much of a burden for an E6550 or similar. I'd rather have an HD2600XT or something to offload the decoding if I built an HTPC, though.

I really don't see anything special about this board. And I see no reason that abit board wouldn't be able to output at 1080p, if anything that ATi chipset would have a little more oomph.
