Software for 775Dual-VSTA

Hi

Anyone can help with found software ( like clockgen, softfsb ) for overclocking on operating system. Mobo is AsRock 775Dual-VSTA ( C2D ready ), cpu E6400@315x8 and this is end. When I set in bios more FSB; >316MHz mobo is stop on post and nothing. Hmmm possible from windows I can more oc with this mobo.

yup, tough thing is to find a proggy that supports your clock generator.

First check and see what your clock gen chip is, will probably look like ICS950403 but could be a realtek or even a winbond chip. It's a rectangle chip usually near your back plate above the agp/pci-e slot.

Then check cpuid.com for a clockgen that matches or look for a setfsb that'll work. You may not find one. My Asrock ConroeXfire775 has an odd Winbond clockgen and I can't find an apporpriate proggy.

I found my clock generator, but clockgen or softfsb ... not support this pll

It looks on it that does not have such program, which acted with these mobo.

Possible Franck from cpuid something will invent

I received a response from Franck, he'll add this PLL to ClockGen soon...

He's VERY good at keeping his software at the cutting edge.

1.0.5.3 - still no pll supporting by clockgen... Very sad...
