Read most of this section numerous times and wanted some advice on components for a quiet performance gaming pc.

comes to about $350 after tax.

Concerns:

I wanted to keep the rad inside the case and only option without major modification is mounting it upfront but that would leave me one drive bay short. I was thinking of making a mount for one hdd by the top exhaust grill or, if i can fit it, on top of the hdd cage by the psu. Any suggestions using existing case?

EK suggests using a backplate with P5K series. I have a TR backplate do i need the backplate specified for the EK or can i use the one i have? If I have to buy new screws i will just buy the EK backplate as it's 5$.

Should i stay with the 1350rpm Yates or go for the higher and use m/b fan controller?

Will all the parts work together without corrosion?

Am i missing anything?

Looks like you're missing a VGA block. If you want pure performance, then MCW-60 + some ramsinks, or a Unisink. If you want slim, all in one, then go for a Fullcover block. And some coolant additive, preferibly Pentosion + your PT_Nuke, or Hydrx.

I personally went for the middle of the road Yates, and even on full power, they are quieter than this "Stealth" $17 fan I bought a few years ago.

Any backplate will work, as all that you are looking for is a brace for your mobo. Your thermalright should be more than efficient, if not better.

Regarding your case, it shouldn't be very hard. The only tool that you will really need is a dremel, and since it is in the front (behind the mesh I presume), it won't matter if your cutting job isn't very pretty.

thanks. had originally decided to go with MCW60 plus these:

now that i look at it i would have to buy 2 sets of these and mosfet sinks for the gtx. might as well just buy unisink and save the hassle.

I've read the DDC's get really hot after prolonged use, should i get Petra gell stuff or is it worth mounting slightly elevated from the bottom of the case?

there were some incidents a while back where the gel-stuff was melted.
i believe its best to have it elevated so air can pass under it or use some breathable foam.
anyways setup looks great thinking about getting the supreme myself.

I'm a little iffy on using the plastic barbs on the MCW60, will these D-TEK 1/2IN G1/4 Chrome High Flow Barb Fittings fit?

yep they both have G 1/4" threads.
7/16" masterkleer tubing fits very snug on those fittings.

quick question before i order, do the d-tek G1/4 high flow barbs fit on the EK Supreme plexi block, MCW60 and MCRES? (i believe the last two use 1/4 but im paranoid)

decided to wait for plexi version since it looks so sexy, still waiting on availability in canada @ncix.com

all will fit. the EK, MCW and MCRES are all g1/4" threaded so you'll be good.

i too am wondering how much of a difference to flow/temp the DD or D-Tek high flow barbs make.
